In 1812 West Chester Academy was established, later becoming West Chester University.

The first road to "the West" (meaning Lancaster County) passed through the central part of Chester County; with some re-alignments, it became the Lincoln Highway and later U.S. Route 30.

Chester County is the highest income-county in Pennsylvania.

We live in a great County with great businesses and great stories!  This website along with our social media marketing provides great content to readers, great content advertising opportunities for business owners and promotes local events!

Content Advertising begins with telling a story about a business.   Life and relationships are all about the stories we tell and create.  These stories are powerful and in times can really impact our lives.  Here at Living In Chester County, we are personalizing our community one word at a time by telling and sharing the stories of our fellow business owners, charities and townships.  We educate our readers about our business partner’s products or services with engaging stories and informational content.  Building that trust between the reader and the story teller “aka business owner” is one of the most important factors of marketing and branding.

This website was created to provide great content to the amazing Residents in Chester County and to provide businesses with a unique way to build brand awareness to more than the 17,000 local readers and followers coming to our website and social media networks every month!

We also provide some amazing educational, fun and inspiring blogs.  Check out the categories at the right side panel or just check out our Blog page!  We post recipes, we have a medical blogger and we have a sports blogger.  This team, Angela, Arleen and Kat, are also moms, so look out for some funny posts that may help you feel a bit normal for the day!

From Toot Sweet! in Exton, PA:

Living in Chester County has helped me grow my business! I met the team from Living in Chester County last summer and have seen my facebook following jump after each and every post that they write about my business. They have their pulse on the community and have been a driving force in my growth. I recently purchased one of their advertising packages and I have seen an increase of 25% in traffic to my website and I continue to get foot traffic that says they heard of me through Living in Chester County. Great packages and great team!!!! I will definitely be using them as I continue to market my business!
